Ordered lunch from them ,liked the Hainanese chicken with chicken stock rice, stir fried flat noodle, and pan fried dumpling. Had their beef rendang on rice, meat was little tough to chew but it taste great. Curry pig skin and fish ball was good too, (source not too spicy). Good portion with reasonably priced. I ordered 6 items and it only came out around $65. Food came out quick and cashier was polite. I will definitely come back for other dishes.

Came by this place on a whim, and I'm glad I did. They're the closest to authentic Malay food in the area that is reasonably priced. They even sell boba now. The auntie in the front is multilingual and very friendly. Definitely check out this cute spot located on kissenna blvd. Recommend the chow kueh teow

A self service store. Super authentic Malaysian restaurant, we ordered five dishes and it was only $60. The food came out fast and the workers were really friendly. I definitely recommend the shredded chicken w hor fun, so delicious and flavorful and it comes with shrimp too. The curry mixed vegetable was so fresh and had the perfect amount of spice. They provide iced and hot water, toothpicks, everything. It's definitely a hidden gem and deserves sooo much more recognition

Mom and pop shop store, good for local hangout. Over all the food is decently priced, I got a lot for what I paid. The restaurant has a lot of Malaysian offerings and has their own drink bars for bubble teas, fruity sodas. It is not tiger sugar but has the perfect flavor for those that does not like sweets. I got salt pepper fish and Malaysian fried mei fun. The salt and pepper fish is delicious, and come with a large bowl of rice that I cannot finish. They accept credit card and cash.

Small mom and pop restaurant. Love supporting small businesses especially they are worth checking out. The food was delish. Wish they would offer shaved ice in the summer (hint hint). Ordered the noodles nasi lmamk. Portion was ok. Taste was delish. Please go easy on the ice next time on the drinks because I think I only had half a cup worth while the ice was packed to the top. Looks like the place went thru some rearrangement as it can now only sit 3 small tables of 3 or 4 ppl each. Small shop but good place for your Malay urge in the area.

Not a fancy place but it's a hidden gem. You come here for the real authentic Malaysian food, folks. This is NOT a place to get roti canai and then put in a bad Yelp review. So undeserving. Get the nasi lemak dishes and various fried noodles. The rendang and sambal are the real deals and flavors are really on-point. That is the difference between an average Malaysian restaurant and great one. Inflation beating portion sizes are also bigger than competitors and food is lovingly homemade. Hope this place stays in business, it's my new go to Malaysian restaurant!

Stopped by earlier today for a quick bite. You have to walk in and seat yourself. There are menus on the table. When you are ready to order, you go towards the cash register. We ordered the roti canai and curry fish ball for appetizer. The roti canai curry was amazing! The roti was one of those that you can find the freezer aisle in the supermarket, nothing special. But the curry dip was so delicious. Spicy! It came with one piece of potato and one piece of chicken. Worth it just for the curry sauce. The curry fish ball with pork skin was also good. But the curry was very light, not as flavorful. The pork skin was delicious with the rice noodle because it held on to as much sauce as it can. For the entree, we ordered nasi lemak and beef rendeng, dry curry noodle, and hainese chicken. They give you a good portion for the hainese chicken but it lacked in flavor. The dry curry noodle was just alright. The beef rendeng doesn't have any coconut flavor, more like stewed beef.

Hainanese Chicken Rice - $12 from Amazing Asia - New Malaysian Restaurant located 44-05 Kissena Blvd . When it comes to Malaysian food, Hainanese chicken is one of the most popular dishes, and that is why I got it. Yes, they are also known for their Char Kway Teow, Mee Goreng, Beef Rendang , Nasi Lemak and Curry Chicken, just to name a few... . I was lucky to get all dark meat, the wing and the leg. It was very moist/juicy. It was also very tender. It's usually boneless right? I haven't had Malaysian hainanese chicken in awhile, ever since Curry Leaves closed. I've had different variations, Thai and Singapore versions... . Anyways, it was very good. Great chicken flavor and the chicken oil rice was very fragrant. It doesn't feel a bit greasy from the fat, but that's how I like it sometimes. Sometimes it can be too greasy but since the chicken itself wasn't all that greasy, it really paired well with the greasy rice. And that sweet soy sauce with the chicken and rice. It also a pretty decent portion. I mean, you can barely see the rice on the bottom.. . It is not a huge restaurant, but it does feel rather cozy inside. . Aside from their menu items, they do also offer 3 dishes bento for $10 - located next to the register. It changes daily and you can follow them on WeChat for upcoming menu items or you can call them the day off to see what they have.. . I think they are a husband and wife running the place... but don't quote me on that. They are very friendly and spoke canto fluently... . . I also tried their rice noodle roll - $5. Similar to your canto rice noodles except they add fried shallots and more of a sweeter sauce. Also very good... .
